Bacon Salt is a flavor enhancer that can be added to Mashed Potatoes, Vegetables, and Baked Potatoes.
4 slices thick-cut bacon
1/4 cup kosher salt
Preheat oven to 350°. Cover a rimmed baking sheet with foil, lay wire racks on baking pan. Lay bacon slices the wire rack and bake until golden brown and crisp, about 10 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels and let cool completely.
Pulse the cooked bacon in a food procesor until finely ground. Spread on paper towels and blot excess grease.
Combine the bacon and salt in a small bowl and rub between your fingers until well mixed.
