Beef and Pork Bundles From Local Farmers

When you buy our beef and pork bundles you are buying meat from one animal. Not like the grocery store, where you have no idea where the meat came from. Our meat comes from local farmers who are struggling now too. Help them out and buy local. Our beef this week comes from Bear Valley Farms, the Uthlaut Family, right across the river, and Berger, MO. The pork comes from Brinker Farms, Kenny Brinker in Auxvasse.

The great thing about buying local meats is this: you are buying a consistent, quality, locally raised beef and pork with no added hormones. We vacuum pack our meats, which is the best package you can buy with a year shelf life in your freezer.

  • Whole or half beef bundle – Cost $3.35 per pound, approximately 350-400 pounds rail weight for half beef, after cutting loss and some shrinkage due to dry aging for tenderness, you will have approximate 290-340 pounds of meat in your freezer for a half beef. You pay on rail weight.
  • Beef Front Quarter– $3.25 per pound. A front quarter of beef weigh approximate 150 to 175 pounds. After cutting loss and some shrinkage due to dry aging for tenderness, you will have approximate 120 to 140 pounds of meat in your freezer. You pay on rail weight.
  • Beef Hind Quarter – $3.65 per pound. A hind quarter weighs approximately 130-170 rail weight, after cutting loss and some shrinkage due to dry aging for tenderness, you will have approximate 95-140 pounds of meat in your freezer for a hind quarter. You pay on rail weight.
  • Whole or 1/2 hog bundle – Cost $2.09 per pound, 1/2 hog approximately 115 pounds rail weight so there will be cutting loss, so 74 lbs take home weight, whole hog approximately 230 pounds rail weight, so 148 lbs. take home weight. You pay on rail weight. Includes:
    • Pork chops, pork steaks, ribs, assorted bacon, bratwurst, breakfast fry sausage, jowl, Black Forest ham, and soup bones.
