Hermann is the place to be this 4th of July holiday! Small town Independence Day celebrations are the best!
Hermann’s Fourth of July celebration gets underway with a concert Tuesday night at the Amphitheater. Wednesday events include kids’ games, music and food booths at Riverfront Park, a parade, and City Band concert at the Amphitheater. The grand finale is a spectacular fireworks display at the riverfront.
Wednesday July 4th:
Happening at Riverfront Park — 1:00 to 8:00
Food and refreshment stands — open at 3:00
Vendor booths — open at 3:00
- Jaycee bounce houses
- Fire truck with sprinkler
- Live music
- Kids pedal-tractor pull — 5:30
- Turtle races — Immediately after tractor pull
- Sign up for tractor pull and turtle races is at 4:30. Please bring your own turtle (extras appreciated.)
Parade — 4:00 pm
Starting at 8th and Washington and ending at 1st and Gutenberg
Theme: Let Freedom Ring in Hermann
City Band Concert — 7:00 pm; Amphitheater
Fireworks — 9:15 pm; Riverfront Park
