Join us for a Polka Brunch as we welcome the Bierkeller Boys Oompah Band back to the Hermann Wurst Haus Sunday, September 29, 9-11 am!
Don’t miss our fantastic All You Can Eat Wurst Breakfast and Bacon Bloody Marys while you enjoy the show!
The Bierkeller Boys are (as far as we know) the nation’s premier polka-playing tuba quartet. These four low brass aficionados specialize in what tubas do best — oompah music — including traditional and contemporary German-American polkas, waltzes, marches, folk songs, light music, and other dances.
They regularly perform across the Midwest, spreading Gemütlichkeit whether they are playing Harmoniemusik for the dining hall or lively dances for the Oktoberfest Biergarten. Their unique instrumentation, dynamic audience engagement, and varied musical selections create an enjoyable atmosphere, whether you want to dance, sing along, or listen and chat. Their versatile and engaging performances have brought them to contemporary and historic German-American venues alike, including Chicago’s Radler, Berghoff Restaurant, and Hofbräuhaus; Milwaukee’s Estabrook Beer Garden, Bavarian Bierhaus, and Christkindlmarkt; and Grand Rapids’ Knickerbocker and Harmony Hall.
They recently played on the Wurst Haus patio to the delight of the crowd!
