SEVEN LAYERED SALAD
Our Grand Champion Bacon is the star in this Seven Layer Salad favorite!
Ingredients
- 1 pound Hermann Wurst Haus Hickory-Smoked Bacon
- 1 large head iceberg lettuce chopped
- 1 red onion chopped
- 1 (10 ) ounces package frozen green peas thawed
- 10 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cauliflower chopped
- 1 ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- For perfectly crisp Hermann Wurst Haus bacon, bake in the oven. Arrange bacon in a single layer on a baking sheet. Place in cold oven and then turn oven to 400°F and bake for 17-20 minutes. Remove from the oven when the bacon is golden brown and crisp. Drain on paper towels. Crumble and set aside.
- In a large flat bowl, place the chopped lettuce and top with a layer of onion, peas, shredded cheese, cauliflower and bacon.
- Prepare the dressing by whisking together the mayonnaise, sugar and Parmesan cheese. Drizzle over salad and refrigerate overnight.
