Convenient Meat Delivery

The Hermann Wurst Haus offers Meat Delivery directly to your home. We have been successfully shipping meat products nationwide since 2011.  Our shipping experts will package your product properly and time your shipment correctly to ensure that it arrives at your doorstep in excellent condition.  Perishable items are shipped frozen in insulated coolers with gel packs.  All of our products are shipped UPS as we have found them to have the most reliable and friendly service.

Shipping Rates and Methods:

We ship to the 48 contiguous states (we do not currently ship to Hawaii or Alaska).  Shipping method and rates for meat delivery are based on the Shipping Region.

Region 1: Meat Delivery to all 48 lower states excluding the five states in Region 2.
Region 2: Meat Delivery to Arizona, California, Idaho, Oregon and Washington.

We ship all orders to states in Region 1 by UPS Ground and they will arrive in approximately 1 to 3 Business Days from the ship date.  Orders to states in Region 2 (Arizona, California, Idaho, Oregon and Washington) are shipped UPS 3 Day Select to arrive in 3 Business Days from the ship date. When we have fulfilled the order you will be notified by UPS on the estimated arrival date.

Rates for shipping meat are based on the table below.  A $5 handling charge per shipment is added to cover additional packaging (coolers and ice packs).

Holiday Shipping Schedule:

Out-of-state shipping: Order by the end of business day on Monday, Dec. 18, to receive by Christmas (we can’t guarantee this due to UPS). Orders received after Dec. 18, will ship on Dec. 27, unless the order is shipping to Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho and Arizona, then they will be shipped on Jan. 8.

Missouri Shipping: Order by the end of the business day on Tuesday, Dec. 19 to ship before Christmas (we can’t guarantee arrival date due to UPS). Orders received after Dec. 19 will be shipped on Dec. 27.

Orders placed between Wednesday noon and Monday at 9 am will be shipped on Monday.

Orders will be shipped as promptly after received as possible depending on what day of the week it is received.  Because standard UPS delivery is unavailable on Saturdays or Sundays your ship date on perishable items will be chosen to avoid weekend days in transit. 

Perishable orders shipping to areas within 1 day UPS Ground will be shipped on Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday.

Perishable orders shipping to areas within 2 days UPS Ground will ship on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Orders shipping to Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho and Arizona must be shipped UPS 3 Day Select and will be shipped on Monday only. 

Non-Perishable orders will be shipped UPS Ground on Monday through Wednesday.

Perishable items are shipped with “No signature required” to avoid spoiling.  So if no one is available for delivery it will be left at the door.

Frequently asked questions: 

Do you ship Wurst Haus beers?  No, at this time we do not have a license to ship alcoholic beverages.

What payment methods do you accept?  We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards and Hermann Wurst Haus e-gift certificates.

Can I place an order over the phone?  Yes, you can call our store at (573)486-2266 during our store hours which are Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm CST. We will be happy to take your order.  You can also call us with any question or concerns about your order. Sorry for the inconvenience but weekends are too busy to take phone orders.

If I live in the area or am visiting,  can I pick up an order at the store?  Yes, you are always welcome to pick up your order at our store located at 234 E 1st St. Hermann, MO  65041.  We can have your product waiting for you whether your order is placed over the phone or the internet.  Please call us in advance.

Can I send an order as a gift?  Hermann Wurst Haus products make great gifts.  Just fill in the recipients address in the ship to section and we will ship it directly to them.  If you would like to add a personal note please let us know in the comments section.  We will not include an invoice in the package.

Do you ship internationally?  We appreciate your interest but we ship only to the 48 continental United States.

If my shipment of perishable product has thawed but is still cool is it ok to refreeze it?  Yes, if your product is still cold but has thawed it is ok to freeze it again.
