Hermann Wurst Haus

We are Missouri Wine Country’s premier meat and sausage shop featuring more than 62 varieties of award-winning Bratwurst and German Sausage as well as Grand Champion House-Smoked Bacons, Gourmet Foods, Gifts and Wurst Haus craft beers and sodas. All sausages and bratwurst are handcrafted in-house by three-time hall of fame owner Mike Sloan. Wurstmeister Mike has won more than 500 international, national, state and regional awards; including 14 Best of Show honors and 29 international awards from the German Butcher’s Association in Frankfurt, Germany. 

Our Old World Style Meats are available at our Deli and Market in Hermann, Missouri and nation-wide through our Wurst Haus Online Store and at Select Retail Stores.

What We Do

Full Service Butchering

Mike and Lynette Sloan, combined have more than 70 years of experience in the meat processing business.  All sausages and bratwurst are handcrafted in-house by three-time hall of fame Wurstmeister Mike Sloan.  Wurstmeister Mike has won more than 500 international, national, state and regional awards; including 14 best of show honors and 29 International awards from the German Butcher’s Association in Frankfurt, Germany. We believe it’s our job to satisfy our customers with our exceptional products and services.

Custom Butchering & Processing

We offer custom butchering, processing and curing of your beef, lamb and pork according to your specifications. Wurstmeister Mike has been a butcher for more than 40 years.

Deer Processing

We work as fast as possible to produce your sausage the way you want it and offer a wide variety of deer sausage options; bratwursts, summer sausage, snack sticks, jerky and more.

Catering

We are known for providing great flavorful food and a fun experience for any type of event or outing. We offer on-site and off-site catering for birthdays, anniversaries, rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, corporate events or any special occasion. We also welcome and can accommodate Group Tours for lunch or dinner.

Classes
