This is two of our favorite things - Bacon AND Chocolate!
1 box devil's food cake mix
1 box instant chocolate pudding mix
2/3 cup oil
1 cup sour cream
3/4 cup buttermilk or milk
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
3 Tbsp. butter, melted
2-4 Tbsp. milk
6-8 strips of Hermann Wurst Haus Hickory Smoked Bacon, cooked and crumbled
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease your Bundt pan with cooking spray.
Sift cake mix into a small bowl to remove any lumps. Add instant pudding mix and mix well.
In a large bowl, combine eggs, oil, sour cream, buttermilk and vanilla. Stir in cake mix and instant pudding and mix until smooth. Add chocolate chips and stir.
Pour into prepared Bundt pan and spread out evenly. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until an inserted knife comes out clean.
For Glaze: Combine powdered sugar, butter and 2 Tbsp. milk. Add more milk if needed to reach a pourable consistency. Pour glaze over cooled cake and sprinkle bacon on top. Use lots of bacon......
